I am an aspiring children's picture book illustrator based in Gateshead, in the North East of England. With a passion for illustration and a love of whimsical imagery, I am currently working on my debut picture book. 

I attended Art college after leaving school and gained a GNVQ advanced in art and design. My life took another route for a good few years, but I'm back on track, and I am pursuing a BA in Illustration with the Open College of the Arts, where I'm honing my craft and deepening my understanding of visual storytelling. 

I am a proud member of the Association of Illustrators (AOI), and I am actively building my creative business through the Good Ship Illustrations business course, which supports illustrators in navigating the illustration world with confidence and clarity.

My work is inspired by the quiet charm of nature, the quirks of family life, and the joyful chaos of my two beloved dogs, Jess and Merlin. I live with my husband in a cosy corner of Gateshead. 

With a background rooted in creativity, I'm passionate about creating illustrations that spark curiosity, comfort, and delight. I believe in the power of stories to connect generations and imaginations, and I am excited to share my work with publishers, readers, and fellow creatives.
